so rel & I basically just have each other - esp when Alex is out of town. & the first time we hung out we got gross NY pizza (aka the only kind of pizza i'm going to ever want to eat in my life) and got snapples. Well, that was August 28th. which makes February 28th, today, our 6th month anniversary. We get excited and make a big deal over basically everything, so we made each other cards (mine reading "Roses are red, violets are blue, I love you as much as your mother, and not b/c we only have each other." I know. Brilliant.) & decided to finally go to A Salt & Battery. Everything was British. They were playing british talk radio about football - euro style! the people working there were british & quite jolly good. The food was bloody delicious (ew, i'm not sure if bloody works there). I got the cod & Rel the shrimp & then we shared an order of chips. b/c how could we have fish & chips w/o the chips. I'm also a huge dork, so naturally I googled the hell out of S&B and everyone and their mom gushed over how amazing the deep fried mars bar were. my arteries wanted to kick my ass, but we ordered one to split. Well it was so good - I prefer it to snogging. (Okay, I'm way bad at british slang & I'm forcing it to make it work. If my American to British Dictionary is correct, I actually like snoggin more than the dessert...but I'm going to pull a tim gunn and make it work.) God it was so so delicious & I'm sure it was also so so bad for me.
